We strongly urge you to use the aftercare that your tattoo artist or piercer suggests you use as aftercare suggestions vary from practitioner to practitioner. While there are many different opinions on what to do and when, you should follow the instructions of whoever you went to for your tattoo or piercing. If they didn't give you any aftercare instructions, you should call them and find out what they suggest. We provide all of our clients with both spoken and written aftercare instructions when the procedure is complete. DO NOT UNDER ANY CIRCUMSTANCES ASK FRIENDS, FAMILY, STRANGERS, OR OTHER PEOPLE NOT INVOLVED IN THE TATTOO OR PIERCING PROFESSION ON HOW TO TAKE CARE OF YOUR TATTOO OR PIERCING AS THEY ARE NOT TRAINED OR DID NOT STUDY THE BEST TECHNIQUES FOR YOU TO DO. It is now YOUR responsibility to make sure that you are taking good care of your tattoo or piercing and that responsibility includes asking your artist or piercer questions if you are not sure about something. If someone does not provide specific aftercare instructions for a tattoo or piercing, you may want to reconsider getting a tattoo or piercing from them!
